Congratulations to Kenny for achieving what so few do, his Black Belt in Ninjutsu!
The test is long and very hard but Kenny did a great job and passed with flying colors.
Well Done!

Kids martial art classes review in Littleton, Colorado

5/18/2015

“I (and Especially my kids) just LOVE that the classes are so FUN!I’ve been to a few different dojo’s and they all follow the same pattern. You get exercise, life lessons and so on, but the problem is they follow the same routine. This makes them predictable and sure enough, after a few months you get bored and quit.

What’s different here is that Lyle mixes things up. I mean seriously, I’m in awe of the stuff he comes up with. I have no idea where or how he gets so many different, fun ideas, but I’m glad he does!

So if you’re looking for something that the kids (or yourself) will want to be involved in for the long-term, this is it, because fun never gets old.”

Bruce Lee schooling in Littleton?

Guess what Bruce Lee once said?

”I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” – Bruce Lee

In Ninjutsu we practice a block/strike sequence, this is referred to as a “Kihon”.

It’s a basic building block of the art.

There are ten basic “Kihon” (building blocks) in Ninjutsu.

In order to build my skill guess what I did?

I took Bruce Lee’s advice.

For one year, every single day, I did 1,000 Kihon, no excuses.

I did all 10 Kihon, 100 times each.

It took a little over an hour each day, but it made me a much better martial artist.

See, I didn’t start out as a Master Ninja Instructor, it took a lot of work.

I still do Kihon everyday just not quite so many. Ask me about it.
